Jason Kaneshige M.D.
Born and raised in Hawai’i, Dr. Kaneshige grew up in Waipahu and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. Dr. Kaneshige obtained his medical school education at the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine. After completing a general surgery internship and four years of Orthopaedic residency training in Hawai’i, he pursued additional training as an Orthopaedic Trauma fellow at the Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. He supplemented his education in international trauma care through his training with the Universitätsklinikum Aachen in Aachen, Germany.
Dr. Kaneshige holds a teaching faculty position and is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Kaneshige provides emergency trauma coverage at Kuakini Medical Center, Queen’s Medical Center West, North Hawai’i Community Hospital, and The Queen’s Medical Center where he is the Orthopaedic Trauma Director. He is also a team physician for the Waipahu High School football team.
